About the Client
The Sponsorship Marketing Council Canada (SMCC) helps brand marketers, agency partners and sponsorship sales teams unleash the power of sponsorship marketing through education, collaboration and access to best practices.
About the Project
Each year, the SMCC puts on the Sponsorship Marketing Awards (SMAs) that recognize and reward those who have maximized the return on their investments in sponsorship marketing. In 2019, we re-branded the SMAs. We developed a bold visual identity that speaks to the event’s mission. For the 2019 and 2020 SMAs, we created all of the marketing assets required for a knock-out event. Each piece conveyed the brands message, highlighting the evening of learning, networking, and celebration of Canada’s best sponsorship marketing successes.
We then redesigned the SMCC website with the members, the Board of Directors, and the staff/volunteers in mind. The goal of the site was to push membership, conveying key messages and benefits. The backend needed to be flexible and easy to manage content, both in English and French. Event registration, job inventory and resources were successfully integrated with their existing management system. We built designated access for a variety of users, as well as member access and authentication for certain sections of the site.
